I watch the children in the park
They play together so well
No hatred and no prejudice
If there's ill will, I can't tell
How much better the world would be
If, as we all grow older
We could keep a child's innocence
And not let bias smolder
The children don't see skin color
They don't care about couture
They don't know of social status
And their overtures are pure
They reach out to one another
Wanting only to be friends
There's no ulterior motive
Unaware of modern trends
If we keep the hearts of children
We'll be closer to God's will
To love each other regardless
And His holy plan fulfill
